Prof. Yong HUANG was awarded NSFC/RGC 2025/26 Grant for “Biomimetic Catalysis of Polyphosphate-Based Nanostructures” with Nanjing University.

HKUST Chemists Prof. Zhenyang LIN and Prof. Yangjian QUAN Unlock New Approach to Four Membered Boracycles.

Prof. Haipeng LU will be promoted to the rank of Associate Professor, with effect from 1 July 2026.

Prof. Zhenyang LIN is awarded the School of Science Service Award 2025–26.

Prof. Xiaojiang XIE received the Distinguished Lectureship Award for work in Analytical Chemistry by the Chemical Society of Japan at the Asian International Symposium, held in March 2026.

A project "Control of Chirality and Spin in Halide Perovskites" led by Prof. Haipeng Lu was awarded HK$4.9 million under the RGC Collaborative Research Fund (CRF) 2025/26 - Young Collaborative Research Grant (YCRG) (C6011-25YF).

Prof. Jianzhen YU was honoured at the HKUST Faculty Recognition Ceremony 2025 for her outstanding academic achievements as RGC Senior Research Fellow 2025/26 and securing major funding from the RGC Theme-based Research Scheme 2025/26.

Prof. Jianwei SUN was honoured at the HKUST Faculty Recognition Ceremony 2025 for his outstanding academic achievements for receiving the 2025 Croucher Senior Research Fellowship award.

Prof. He YAN was identified as a 2025 Highly Cited Researcher in the Engineering category by Clarivate Analytics.
