The 17th International Symposium for Chinese Organic Chemists (ISCOC) and the 14th International Symposium for Chinese Inorganic Chemists (ISCIC) will be held in Hong Kong on 9-11 June 2025. It is co-organized by HKU, HKUST, CUHK, CityU, HKBU and PolyU.

The Department of Chemistry hosted the 31st Symposium on Chemistry Postgraduate Research in Hong Kong at HKUST campus on 22 March 2025 with over 400 participants (faculty and students) from local institutions including CityU, CUHK, HKBU, HKU and PolyU

Prof. Yangjian QUAN is awarded the Thieme Chemistry Journals Award 2025 by Thieme Press
